So it is buddie buttkicking time again. Once you have enough fun buy the sail and follow the build tutorial to attach it to the broken sailboat. Once you are sailing head towards the weird bridge and the burning wrecks. Achievement should pop halfway there.

How to:

When you get supply drops in levels 2-4, you will also sometimes receive gifts. Collect these the way you would do with other supplies (walk over them). There are lots of extras, so you don't have to worry about missing one or two. There is a checkpoint on mission 2 before the first christmas present drop, and reloading the checkpoint does not reset the number of presents collected. Collect 2 presents, reload checkpoint, and repeat for the 20.

Must be done during daylight (prior to crossing the lake) but after Raz has hit level 10 (occurs after learning levitation, if you don't try to collect anything). Go to the forest near the CPC, use Pyrokinesis on a squirel, and it will drop a roast, then find a bird, use pyro, and pick up the roast for the achievement.

Diggle Nog!
Make some Diggle Nog. Who doesn't love a nice cold glass of Diggle Nog?

How to:

A simple way to get the achievement is by creating a new character and selecting Alchemy as one perk. You can play on easy if you want and the other perks don't matter. Just take atleast something combat related so you are not completly defenseless. Once you are in the game you will see Alchemy already gave you the distillery crafting item and an Aqua Vitae, that is already half way done! Now explore the first level of the dungeon and be sure to pick up Grog(looking like a beer) and Diggle Eggs(looking like an egg =P). There should be some on every dungeon since those are very common items. You could also buy a Grog from one of the "drinking machines" if you can't find one and have the money. Once you found a Grog and an Egg, check your inventory and select the distillary to open the crafting menu. Scroll all the way to the bottom to find the receipe for the Diggle Grog, select it and hit craft.

How to:

Play an online match as the Aztecs. You first need to "research" the mind control, which is the third one in the third column (correct me if I'm wrong). To get to this one, you first need to "research" the prior two, which you need money for.

In a regular online match, you'll likely need to make units to defend yourself, but if you can find someone else to unlock the achievement with, it can be done easier. You should both start researching the path to the mind control, and in the meantime, make more gold collectors. Once you both have mind control unlocked, one of you should build a fighting unit (I don't believe you can "mind control" the gold collectors, and even so, they're in the fog of war until you send a unit). Then just mind control this guy back and forth until you both unlock it.

Not too difficult (unless you want to try it in an online match against someone who's actually trying to beat you), but figured I'd put it up just in case.

When the match starts, spawn as Stealth Assasin and make your way to the enemy bunker. It is easier then. Attention: Turrets might see you.

How to:

Just find an easy target, traders are best, and shoot them until their shields are completely depleted. Then access your weapons menu ('G' by default), and select one of your guns and choose 'Add To Group 2'.

Close the weapons menu and press '2', then resume firing on your chosen target, slowly depleting his hull with your single weapon. Eventually he should comm you and say he's abandoning his ship, and you'll get the achievement.

If he doesn't do this, stop firing just before his hull is completely depleted and comm him. Apologize for shooting him, and do the same with any hostile police ships in the sector. Then you can choose another target and try the process again until someone bails.

How to:

1. Click "Single Player" then "House vs House".
2. Choose "The Neck" as the map (1v1).

Eventually both those units will die, you'll lose the game, and you'll get the achievement when the game ends.

You can use the "kill" command in the console on an empty server to drop presents for yourself in the spawn room. You can enable the console in the options. To make it quicker, type "bind k kill" in the console, then it's a single button press to die.

Even faster: Start a Server (on the right of browse Server the cross) start a game, using a map with one large spawn (e.g. cp_dustbowl). Write in console: "tf_bot_add 60" after that you just write "tf_bot_kill all" they drop some presents repeat the kill step untill you got 3 presents (needs maybe up to 3x)

Decorate the Christmas tree.

How To:

Start the campaign (first mission). Play past where you get the pistol then over the hill with the kamikazes, then over to the right where the museum is. There is a white Christmas tree at the museum.

To get the achivement, you must place by throwing a heart from a Headless Rocketeer (purple gun zombie), an eye from a Gnaar (charging one eyed monster), and the head of a Kleer (bone monster) all on the tree. Do this by using your melee attack on these monsters to grab these body parts, then go to the tree and throw them on the tree. If you place one of each on the tree, you get the achievement.

Note that this can be done on Tourist difficulty (which is super easy), and that if you sprint you stop holding onto a body part. You'll have to take care that the kamikazes don't explode all the monsters you need near the museum before you get the chance to use them. The Kleer can be found jumping out of a window up high if you go around the right and back of the museum.

How To:

Beat the Etherian Holiday Extravaganza! event on any difficulty. Take the presents near the forge to the selected christmas tree and defend the presents from monsters, untill all presents are delivered for that wave. You will have to defend 1/2/3/4 trees simultaneously. During the boss wave santa and the (evil)-Mega_Snowman will appear. Kill the boss, while defending santa against the regular enemies to win.

Note: The mission is challenging. A level 30+ character will likely be needed to solo.

Collect 10 presents.

How To:

Kill enemies with Santa's hats (walkers) or Santa himselft by shooting his sleigh. Enemies drop 1 present, Santa drops 5. You can just wait for Santa in the building phase and then quickly shoot him.

A good way to get the achievement is to just run the first level on easy. You'll usually get 1-4 gifts for every wave of walkers.

Though it can take longer, walkers in the regular missions that have the Santa hats will also drop the presents. This achievement doesn't seem to require completion in a single level.

A Devil's Room never appears after the first boss. Choosing Cain as your character if you have unlocked him improves your chances of running into Krampus.

The following actions improve your chances of making the Devil's Room appears at the end of a level:

• Killing the boss without taking any damage
• Finishing the level without taking any damage
• Killing the beggars
• Buying items from the Devil

Your chances of running into Krampus increase drastically after the first Devil's Room you enter in the same game:

• 10% chances of running into Krampus on your first Devil's Room
• 50% chances on your second Devil's Room
• 85% chances on your third Devil's Room

How To:

Play on a server with humans, or on a local server with bots. Spawn as human, and kill the infected. At random intervals, you will be presented with a nice gift. Get 3 of them, and you are ready to go!

To make it easier: Get this mutation from Steam Forums

1. Install by unzipping and placing "official and custom mutations.vpk" into "Steam\steamapps\common\left 4 dead 2\left4dead2\addons" folder.
2. Start Left 4 Dead 2, Select "All Mutations" then "Versus Mutations" after that select "Versus Co-op".
3. Select Versus Co-Op Custom Match Settings and create a lobby.
4. Edit game settings and choose local server.
5. Pick a human character and whatever map you want to play.
6. After that you can just run through the map or stay in one location and kill the special zombies, your teammates will be bots and the zombies as well. Easier to kill then real versus players, plus the bots don't pick up gifts.

The zombies that drop gifts are the non-regular ones like Boomer, Smoker, Tank, etc. The ones you can play in versus mode.

Team Meat has now tweeted that Steam is going to use "The Golden Gift" instead of changing it to the "The Kids Xmas" achievement. So, you have to beat all 5 levels now. In a row.

The Golden Gift! Complete all levels in "The Kids Xmas" chapter in super meat world IN ONE PLAY SESSION!

How To:

To get the achievment you need to complete "The Kids Xmas" in one sitting without leaving the levels. However, the xmas levels cannot be loaded for now, because Super Meat Boy's database has been "hacked". People are reporting that you can still get the levels and the Achievment even though the SQL errors appear.

To get the levels needed you need to start the game and select "Super Meat World" (On world select press left to see Super Meat World. It's before The Forest levels). Once there select the "Featured" tab. Eventually the levels will load and the first one is "The Kids Xmas." Select that one.

You can also use the 'alt glitch' from the Portal 2 Potato Pack ARG to complete the level as shown in the video below.

Easy Way:

Easy solution with Trainer:

• Download the SMB Trainer+11 from here
• Start SMB via the Trainer (exe is located in Steamapps/comon/SuperMeatBoy
• Load the levels
• Tick first and third options

Now you can float and saw cant hurt you, should be easy with this.

NOTE: The easy method did not work for me, and may not work for others. I finished every level with said options ticked, and was not granted the achievement upon finishing the last level.

NOTE 2: It appears the SQL errors are gone for now as I loaded the game and levels with no problem. Unlike the above advice I used options 3 + 6 from the Trainer+11. Floating was annoying and pressing UP to fly was easier and faster. After completing all 5 levels I got the "Golden Gift" achievment.

NOTE 3: I can verify that using options 3 + 6 works. The original Steam thread for the trainer got deleted. Simply point the trainer at the exe and up-jump through the levels.

How To:

Click on 'fun things to do' and take the one called 'create your own solar system'. Follow the steps until you have to add a planet, add Earth instead of the one that should be added and Zoom out and put the Earth far away. Then just change the time intervals from minutes to days and wait a bit.

You can also load any solar system model with the Earth, set the Earth's volocity to zero and wait a few seconds.

The easiest method is to open up the game and load the preset simulation, "Our Solar System," click on the Sun, then on the main properties tab, under actions, click delete body or explode body.

Or simply change the temperature of the sun to 0 Kelvin.

Open the file in notepad and search for the string "mission_unlocked"

You should find a variable "permanentGlobal int[16],mission_unlocked;"

'Valve Gift Grab 2011 – 'CS:S

How to:

The fastest method is to create a server full of bots (type "bot_quota 29" in the console), set to easy difficulty. You can optionally force them to use knives, depending on whether you want an easy kill, or quick scavenge. Any present generated is identified by an audio cue, and it should not take more than 2-3 rounds.

Otherwise, you could get on a gun game server, which are the maps that start with "gg", with auto respawn. Then look for presents in the middle of the map. You should have them within a few minutes.

Note: If you live in a different timezone to Valve, this achievement will stop counting presents on January 2nd - change your time back to January 1st to have your presents count.

How to:

If you have The Stars are Left DLC, play through Chapter 1. Near the start, a Goblin will drop the Frost Cleaver. Every kill you gain with this counts towards the achievement as you are killing a frozen enemy with it!

Possibly the quickest and easiest: Go into challenge mode and select Glade as your map. Approach enemies and do the following: Wet (Shift + QQQQQ), Freeze (Shift + RRRRR), Kill (Shift + RQRQRQRQRQ), Die, Repeat. :) Suicide(DDDDD+click middle mouse)
